Well the first meeting went very well. It was nice to meet the faces behind the gametags. The main discussion was the web sight and the LAN party in the fall. Cory is coming along very well with the new web sight. Maybe he can post a link to the beta sight so we can look at it again and post comments. I do think having dynamic content like we see on the current home page is nice. This way we know the sight is not stale and is active. What is your take on the subject? ~BrunTech

Brun,
Agreed, like I said last night, many people want to see daily content updates so they're not wasting time surfing a "stale" site.
It will be a work in progress, and I'm sure Cory will be trying alot of new things to make the site as interesting and as interactive as possible.

Well the first meeting went very well. It was nice to meet the faces behind the gametags. ~BrunTech I agree and definitely think that we should make getting together in a face to face environment a regular function. It's great to sit down with a beer, your buddies and great gaming conversation! The main discussion was the web sight and the LAN party in the fall. Cory is coming along very well with the new web sight. Maybe he can post a link to the beta sight so we can look at it again and post comments. Cory (Dragunfyre) is definitely giving the web site a lot of great attention. Iceman183 has done so very much to get things started but I think with our new URL [glow=green,2,300]xboxteamrochester.com[/glow] the new XBOT character, the logo and the rest we will be able to establish an awesome presence on the internet. I do think having dynamic content like we see on the current home page is nice. This way we know the sight is not stale and is active. What is your take on the subject? ~BrunTech Yes I also agree that dynamic content is necessary on the main page even if it's just a few teasers that link into the bulletin board. The current Blogspot opener has the idea with it's article headlines but the new page should the allow quick linking to the rest of the article and our member's comments. Also what do you think about game-play videos to stream or download off the site. Would any of you be interested in assisting me in creating some game play videos? I have a PC that can be used to capture video from the XBOX but if anyone else has equipment that we can use as well that would be great! GhostRiderTGAC
