Hey guys. I just found out about this team from my buddy Justin (Megafaf333).
I'd like to join, but can't since I don't have Xbox Live. Anyways, if you guys ever have a LAN Party, you can count me in. I can bring my box and my 20" flat tube.
I live in Henrietta btw.

Yeah, he is cool, but the only reason he dosen't have live is because he modded his box, but his box is pregnant dogin' and he is pretty good at Halo 2.

ken52787,
Glad to see you're interested in XBTR!
Please send an e-mail to the team e-mail box at xbtr@rochester.rr.com and I will add you to the weekly mailing list.

P.S. Not sure what "pregnant dogin" means, but in the context it was used, that must be a good thing!

So you've modified your box? I understand that there are chips out there that allow you to switch off the mods so you can still play on Live!
Anyway... it's no big deal that you don't play on live! We welcome any local players into our group. We are going to have another face to face club meeting sometime towards the end of June and the dates will definitely be posted. Also the meeting will most likely be in Henrietta so it in your neck of the woods.
We will probably have a few small LAN Parties to test infrastructure prior to our big event in the Autumn so maybe we can system link soon.

My chip does turn off, but I replaced my hard drive with a 120gb and it won't lock. Without getting into all the boring details, it basically means I can't use the box without the chip enabled (if I do, it just acts like my hard drive died and gives me microsoft's tech support number).
PS. I'd also like to know what "pregnant dogin" means also. Rofflecoasters.
EDIT: Also, I am pretty good with HTML, PHP, MySQL and all that trash, so if your webmaster ever needs a hand with anything, I can probably help out.

pregnant - dog - in
(pregnant dog= b i t c h) + "in" = b i t c h i n
Used by language filters to get rid of the offensive "B" word
Used in context: Dude, that rocket kill from across coag was pregnant dogin. Now lets go jam a plasma nade on iceman for killing me 25 times in the scorpion tank. ;D

The new web site is going up this week at our new permanent address www.xboxteamrochester.com and I'm sure that Dragunfyre could use any development assistance you would be willing to offer.

Hehey. I realized shortly after my last post that I have another spare hard drive laying around, and I put it in my box and got it to lock.
So now I am ready for live, its just a process of actually buying live. I'll see if I can't pick it up next week or so.

here's a crazy (yet ingenious) thought. can we get an xbox 360 demo'd at the LAN party?
Ghostrider, you 're the one with the sponsor track - what do you think?

I don't know about a demo box. Most of the stores probably won't get them until the day they are released for sale. What I can do though is put together video information on the games so folks who haven't seen the games yet can do so. Many of the developers are really putting the pedal to the medal to get these games ready for the November debut.
