Is anyone here interested in having some time put aside for "Halo 2 Clinics" that will teach skills and provide a place to practice? The clinic will be sponsored my a member who volunteers for the duty, and that member should provide a quick skill lesson with examples and will be responsibe for setting up the map and game type. The skill can be a complex one such as how to handle multiple attackers with Melee (which I find difficult) or as simple as evasion or the best spots to snipe on certain maps.
I will volunteer for the first clinic if everyone agrees to set the time aside on this Friday, time to be dictated by member interest which should not exceed 10 minutes unless we all are having fun. The topics will be Jumping skills, core jumping, and inaccessible regions (or so you think).
I think that all of us have certain skills and if those are shared with the group it will make us all better halo 2 players.
Let me know what you think.

Sounds like a great idea, and it kind of goes inline with what I was saying about XBTR Tournament play.
The only way you get good at anything is to practice, I think its great that Witefeather is volunteering for this....

so far the feedback is positive, maybe we'll se up a time for the clinic to start (say 8:00 Friday) and I'll set up the map and options so you all can simply join in. If we do this thing please bear in mind that there are some things I'm still practicing, so be gentle with me.
PLease send feedback on this idea and I'll monitor this throughout the day (since I have *ahem* free time) and I'll post a difinitive yes/no to the clinic tonight.
Again, the subject will be jumping, core jumping, and inaccessible places (or so you think) and will mainly focus on jumping dexterity, coordination and spacial awaremess.

All - sorry, I've cross posted on this subject. Please take this discussion to the "XBTR Tournament Team" thread.
My apologies.

The nice thing about the "Team Training" area of Halo2, for those of you who haven't used it, is that it doesn't negatively/positively impact your scoring.
Die as many times as you like, we'll make more....
